A new report suggests Apple could hold its next iPhone launch event in the second week of September. The company’s first foldable iPhone, rumored to be called the iPhone Ultra, is expected to debut alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The information comes from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who says Apple is expected to follow its usual launch schedule and unveil the new iPhone lineup on the first Tuesday or Wednesday after Labor Day.

Based on that timeline, Gurman believes that Apple is most likely to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro lineup and the foldable iPhone on September 8. However, September 9 also remains a possibility, as it falls immediately after Labor Day on September 7.
If Apple opts for a September 9 launch event, Gurman expects pre-orders to open on September 10. The new iPhone lineup would then likely go on sale later that month.
