Soccer fans who want to show some NYC love for the World Cup can head to Louis Armstrong Stadium in Flushing, Queens, this week to get a free “fan band” bracelet from Bank of America (BofA).
The decorative bracelets are adorned with beads and charms in the shape of iconic NYC landmarks and items, including the Statue of Liberty and, of course, pizza! The bracelets read, “2026 Final,” to commemorate the World Cup.
New Yorkers can get a fan band at watch parties in the Kick Off Zone at the stadium on Monday, June 15, from 1:30 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday, from 1:30 p.m. to midnight.
After snagging a band, fans can then step into a digital photo booth on site to capture the moment and have the photo sent to their phones, BofA reps said.
BofA is the official bank of the FIFA World Cup. The company is giving out the bands and offering other fan experiences across all 11 U.S. host cities, including NYC. The BofA fan bands are collectible bracelets available in red, blue and black that feature 140 custom-designed beads, inspired by the World Cup, host city landmarks and national team colors.
“FIFA World Cup 2026 is the first World Cup on U.S. soil in decades, and we wanted to help create memories that will last even longer,” David Tyrie, president, marketing, digital and specialized consumer client solutions, said. “BofA fan bands are designed to capture the energy of FIFA World Cup 2026, celebrating the iconic teams, passionate fans and the host cities at the heart of the tournament.”
Fans can also customize their own bracelets at Bank of America fan experiences across FIFA Fan Festivals, the U.S. Soccer House and local BofA Fan Band Mobile Tours.
