In our news wrap Wednesday, Tropical Storm Eta headed toward a second strike at Florida — this time, north of Tampa Bay. High winds and heavy rain lashed the coast as the storm neared, with conditions forcing a major bridge and the Tampa International Airport to close. Also, Republicans earned a 50th Senate seat as the Associated Press declared Alaska’s Sen. Dan Sullivan won his reelection bid.
