The New York Police Dept. was investigating a shooting near Parkchester in The Bronx Saturday evening.
Police say a woman told officers someone shot at her car while she was driving. She says the bullets shattered her back seat, injuring two kids who were back there. They reportedly suffered minor injuries from broken glass when the rear windshield shattered.
There was no word Saturday on what led up to the shooting, or who may be responsible.
Investigators say it happened around the Cross Bronx Expressway and Taylor Ave. Citizen app video showed detectives directing traffic away from the area.
Police have not posted a description or video of the shooter.
