Woman, boyfriend stabbed ex to death at Long Island yacht club – NBC New York

A woman was accused of killing her ex at a Long Island yacht club after traveling from out of state with her boyfriend, according to prosecutors.

Kacy Corso, who previously lived in Setauket, was arraigned Thursday on a second-degree murder charge. Earlier in November, the 33-year-old traveled from her new home in North Carolina to Stony Brook with her current boyfriend to confront her ex, Christopher Millwater, near the Stony Brook Yacht Club, prosecutors said.

Millwater, 52, of Selden, was found stabbed to death in the yacht club parking lot. Authorities said the attack was captured on surveillance video.

Corso pleaded not guilty in court, as Millwater’s family looked on.

“This is the beginning of the fight for my brother’s justice,” said Corinne Millwater, the victim’s sister. “My concern is not her, my concern is justice for my brother.”

Prosecutors said Corso allegedly drove her car into Millwater’s vehicle after he arrived at the yacht club. She then “egged on” her current boyfriend, later identified as Victor Panebianco, to stab Millwater multiple times, according to investigators.

Millwater’s nephew said learning what happened was heartbreaking.

“My uncle, he was really like a second father to me,” Chase Millwater said. “He took me fishing a lot, we did a lot of things together, spent a lot of time at the very beach where he was killed.”

Prosecutors have not offered a possible motive for the killing. Corso’s attorney declined to comment.

A Suffolk judge ordered Corso held without bail. Panebiano, who prosecutors said was the one to actually carry out the stabbing, was arrested in North Carolina and was awaiting extradition back to New York to also face a charge of second-degree murder.

“It’s a little upsetting to know people have the heart to do things like this to others,” said the victim’s nephew.
