Nicky Romero just had a monumental moment in his already iconic career – his first ever solo show – “Nightvision” – and in classic fashion, he pulled out all the stops.
A name synonymous with EDM, Romero’s recent incarnation is one of showmanship and a dedication to his craft. A true sonic journey, his solo show spans his entire career — from his early anthems to his recent hits — all performed live with stunning visuals and a wall of controllers, synths and pads. Not just another press play DJ set, “Nightvision” featured sounds from some of his best sets from across the globe over the span of recent years — bringing the festival main stage and Romero’s raucous DJ sets to a live performance setting. The experience was further elevated by surprise appearances from some of his most famous collaborators.
For those who missed it – the solo experience can be relived through the Nightvision EP — Romero a six-track output packed with the kind of club-ready, melodically progressive tracks that have defined his unique sound for over a decade.
